![]() Yes it is! I began as pro-abortion, changed my junior year of college. For awhile, I supported repeal of Roe but in recent years, I've come to realize that abortion is not a legal issue but a moral one. I support efforts to reduce the abortion rate but passing state laws in an attempt to get around the Supreme Court is not the way. We must teach our sons that pregnancy is NOT a female problem, that if you get a girl pregnant, you must share in the responsibility. It will take a basic change in our culture...getting to the place when boys actually respect girls and care about their welfare instead of being focused on getting in their pants. Love must mean something rather than something you tell a girl to get your way. Until then, it simply isn't fair to expect women to be forced with having a child without recourse so we must encourage adoption and other alternatives.
