Wait On That Abortion

Nothing like infringing on people's rights like South Dakota is currently doing. Not only are they imposing a 3 day waiting period if you want one, but they actually will force you to undergo counseling to talk you out of it. All this for something that is LEGAL in this country. Un****ingreal

It's legal. Deal with it.

Yes it is! I began as pro-abortion, changed my junior year of college. For awhile, I supported repeal of Roe but in recent years, I've come to realize that abortion is not a legal issue but a moral one. I support efforts to reduce the abortion rate but passing state laws in an attempt to get around the Supreme Court is not the way. We must teach our sons that pregnancy is NOT a female problem, that if you get a girl pregnant, you must share in the responsibility. It will take a basic change in our culture...getting to the place when boys actually respect girls and care about their welfare instead of being focused on getting in their pants. Love must mean something rather than something you tell a girl to get your way. Until then, it simply isn't fair to expect women to be forced with having a child without recourse so we must encourage adoption and other alternatives.

I was just posting some of the excuses people have for not using protection.

I wasn't denigrating your post. But thanks for the suggestion:)

very well put

though I think the 3 day waiting period to buy a handgun in some states infringe more than abortion as far as being 'legal'

Women can't resist a dedicated playa.:L: They fill stadiums and arenas with girls (n' women) who come to see 1 male sing etc. They are suckers. Playas appear to be mainly born, and not made. You won't stop the Playa's. This is their drug.

40 years after roe v wade, and people still want to make it the #1 issue. it's not. if you don't believe in it, don't get one. otherwise, myofb.

It really is. It is sad. And I understand the irony some would find in my 2 week old being my avatar and me starting this thread. The fact is, I am never going to be in that woman's shoes as a man. And watching what my wife went through, and saying that all women must go through that is complete nonsense.

Welcome to the Republican wet dream - America with the morals and ethics of the some, dictated to the many.

I laugh hysterically now every time some accuses the Democrats of "big government takeover" of anything. Wisconsin, Florida and Michigan are disasters.

I thought jobs and unemployment were the number one issue this past election.
I am glad to see that we've had a record year of corporate profits, however.

i said people still want to make it #1-of course that's some people-not everyone. there are voters who vote strictly on who is 'pro life'. i think that's a misnomer, who the hell is pro death?

Well, Dr K, the various serial killers among us (I don't recall how many the FBI says are around), the Hemlock Society and other such groups, and supporters of Capital Punishment (ironically including many folks who are "pro-life")

I don't believe "Playas" are born, morality is taught.
