My post pertained to the last race, not the 2nd. However, I completely disagree with you regarding Tiz for Tat, respectfully, of course. The golden rail at Belmont right now is pretty much undeniable.

I respect your opinion, but I just feel like JV is taking much more heat for this ride than he deserves. The horse was taking him outside and I feel like he did what he could to get an uncooperative horse to the rail by the turn by which time the 2 had already taken the rail. Sometimes a horse doesn't want to do what a rider wants the horse to do and it seemed to me to be the case here.

Tiz for Tat had every opportunity to run the 2 down and the 2 was simply better IMO. I just see many making yet another excuse for this horse and jumping all over him as chalk next time when I am starting to feel that he just might be a pack horse that is going to wait on another horse when it comes crunch time.

JV did everything wrong on Winning Cause (Woodbine Race 6).
