![]() In my opinion, when a rider stays that wide in the backstretch, it encourages others to go after him early up the inside. I've seen that happen time and time again, and yesterday's last race was no different. Lasso came up inside of him, and not so coincidentally, they were both distanced at the end.

![]() My post pertained to the last race, not the 2nd. However, I completely disagree with you regarding Tiz for Tat, respectfully, of course. The golden rail at Belmont right now is pretty much undeniable.

Tiz for Tat had every opportunity to run the 2 down and the 2 was simply better IMO. I just see many making yet another excuse for this horse and jumping all over him as chalk next time when I am starting to feel that he just might be a pack horse that is going to wait on another horse when it comes crunch time. |
