![]() Brees has 8 more turnovers than Rodgers. Brees has more yards, but far more attempts as well. Rodgers leads in passer rating and yards per attempt. Running game is much better in NO than it is in GB. Brees has only one more TD than Rodgers but played in one more game. Rodgers beat Brees. Your argument for Brees as MVP is that Matt Flynn had a career game against a terrible/overated Detroit Lions team in a meaningless game. To me there is only one award that matters and it is not who is MVP, but Rodgers should win the MVP.

![]() They both knew there was a chance ( slight) that they would meet in the playoffs so both D's were pretty "vanilla' throughout.

![]() i read an interesting point of view about matt flynn and his chances with another team. guy said that flynn will go to a bad team, and then the owner, coaches, fans will wonder why he can't duplicate his previous feats from when he was with a good team. we all know a good team can make a good qb. and of course no matter how good a qb is, if he hasn't got a good line to block and give him time, then he's going to get pummeled.
i have high hopes for sam bradford-but i'm not sure he can stand up to all that punishment long enough to be around for some good teammates.

![]() Nobody said either team quit, but if the game actually mattered Matt Flynn would have been holding a clip board
