Ask Golfer if the guy can play. Sanchez is not an NFL QB.

I remember a guy once named Kelly Ice Holcomb...threw for 400 plus in a playoff game against Steelers. Permanent solution. Wait, wrong thread.

Im not sure anymore, but with the talent he would have around him in NY I would take Tebow over Sanchez all day. Hes more of a leader and can move around. What exactly does Sanchez do well? I cant name one thing. |

When Sanchez is on (which wasn't much this season) he's an excellent game manager. He has the ability to throw (much, much better than Tebow) although the current coaching staff hasn't allowed it. 5 and 6 yard routes with a legitimate deep threat in Santonio Holmes isn't going to cut it. This season was doomed from the start for the Jets. It didn't seem like they were an actual team ever. Who is to blame for that? A lot of people and it should start with Tannenbaum and Rex Ryan. Let the sh.it roll down from there. But when your on field leader is your coach....never a good thing. Someone needed to step up and no one did. |

i think the jets' woes have far more to do with coaching than anything. sanchez will be there longer than rex imo. i think sanchez can be a good qb-but his line doesn't seem to help him much from what i've seen. prima donna wr's don't help either. where was the 'c' yesterday when they needed him? on the bench, sulking.

Does the offensive line count in the talent category? Because it sure seems like Timmy has a lot of time to throw back there. The running lanes for Timmy and the RB's were pretty good too.

There are many things not to like about Sanchez this season. The ONLY thing I can write in his defense is that when you get hit as often and as hard as he did this year, it takes it's toll. No quarterback is successfull when getting slammed around, including Brady.

The Jets were built to win THIS year, what they did on the field was pretty disgraceful. They will have much work to do in the off-season. I will say as of today, next year's schedule is'nt that bad. But of course that opinion can change dramatically. Football season is over , it's on to HOCKEY!![]() |

He has not 1 relevant skill position player, the WR Thomas would be a nice 3 on most teams with a lot of upside. He is there 1.

If you do not have time to throw the ball, it wouldn't matter if you had Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin and Lynn Swann as your recievers.

Thomas looks like a 3 because Tebow throws the ball like Nuke LaLoosh. If he had Brady or Rogers throwing to him he would have 1200 yds. and double digit TD's.

Brady makes mediocre receivers look much better than they are. Rodgers receivers are all good, and would be without Rodgers.
