It's a strong leader in the clubhoue though.

Maybe Pletcher has his eyes set on the Grand National with Discreetly Mine.

85/50 thinking BC Marathon. Plenty of turns to bolt on.

Here was Cuvee.

Just missed the CD track record for 4.5fs in his debut - and set a 20 3/5th opening quarter while dueling in his first start as a 3yo.

His Saratoga Special win in the slop was spectacular.

I happened to look at sire stats for Cuvee and noticed that his offspring win 29% on off-tracks from a triple digit sample size. They are 32-for-111 on wet going. Noble's Promise could improve if he gets a wet track based on that.

Cuvee's offspring win 19% of the time sprinting and 12% routing.

A lot of the young Sire are really strong on the off tracks...with similar sample sizes.
Afleet Alex and Speightstown are the 2 I can name off hand.

1/9 to not make it over the first jump.

Although what McPeek is trying to do is about as laughable as a US Trainer taking a US Steeplechase horse over for the Gold Cup...
