Default Oh So Awesome

I've followed this guy's progression...er...regression since last year's Belmont. Today he looked awful in an allowance in Florida. I wonder about this guy.

I honestly don't think I have ever seen a trainer who runs more logical type horses, at short prices, that perform miserably than John Kimmel.

I liked him a lot in the Belmont. It's a shame he's running so terribly.

Pardon my edit, I felt a slight clarification would underscore your point.

You're right.

What's interesting, and what makes your point stronger, is how successful Kimmel was ten plus years ago with cheap horses he bought to crank up and sell. When he started getting more expensive horses, say when Waxman was his client, he really became disappointing.

They killed that guy, other than that one Storm Cat filly (her name escapes me at the moment) every horse they bought for that guy was an expensive disaster worse than the last. Very scary, that started a consistent pattern of that.

Man, that's sad -- I thought he ran a hell of a race in the Belmont and thought he'd go on to do good things on either surface.....apparently not.
