![]() Interesting change of tatics from Ms. Sanders recently. Was told she was going to try and teach him to rate up to the Derby. She figures that Stormello will be a nagging thorn if if they hook in the Derby and both will be cooked hitting the far turn. Probably will anyway......regardless of a speed duel.
She will continue to try to teach Tueflesberg under the shadow of darkness (like Sea Biscuit) to rate so he sits in the first tier and make his move when asked on the first Saturday in may. Not sold on the concept at all and will hopefully see this colt around later in the year sprinting. One tough cookie when sent from the gate. However...Jamie Sanders was a top assistant for Nick Zito and knows the derby game quite well. Interested in your thoughts Java Last edited by Java Gold : 03-20-2007 at 08:59 PM. |

![]() They will risk ruining a very talented sprinter if they continue to insist he is a Derby horse. It's unfortunate, but it's happened before, and it will happen many more times.

![]() I agree completely with Andy. This horse could be a top notch sprinter if allowed.

![]() It seems like a good idea to skip the derby for him. He can't do everything.
