So, is the Constitution, a living breathing entity, or, is it is, what it is? Comma!

you mean like the lefties when it comes to the second amendment? but you do have a point....honestly, the arguments at times regarding law and the constitution reminds me of when two bible thumpers argue, and each point to a different part of the bible to back their play.

That is the perfect analogy. I admit-I do it all the time! The government is violating my constitutional rights with privacy issues and then the next breath I will say that the constitution was written over 200 years ago and the world has changed.

To a lesser degree, the Constitution reminds me of The Bible....so many different ways to interpret it and and so many factions using it to leverage their own personal beliefs.

I now better understand the thought process behind some of the left calling for the next Supreme Court nominee to be 'less judicial' and more 'real world'.

ironically that's how many of them feel about the bible. Never thought the word bible would be interchangable with 'real world' on this board. A sort of 'Festivus' miracle.

And I’m hoping they follow their own advice and hire pilots that are less ‘aeronautically inclined’ and more ‘real world’. There is an entire force of overworked cab drivers to choose from.
