LOL!

If Verrezano finishes 3rd or better in the Kentucky Derby this guy is a lock to win it all.

Think about that for a second ... in order to win the entire contest, all he needed was for an odds-on favorite to win the Wood Memorial and for him to comeback and run 3rd or better in the Kentucky Derby.

That's what Churchill Downs gets for hiring marketing people to do something that involves common sense and an understanding of horse racing.

Churchill should at least pony up with extra prizes for those that played as the rules were intended. Pretty sure they can afford it and would appease everyone concerned.

I'm not surprised by their reaction. There's nothing in the official rules that says you can't do this. Taking the same horse multiple time was an oversight when they threw this game together, and it's too late for them to change the rules now.
Props to the guy that figured out how to beat the system. If this game cost money to play, a lot of people would be pissed, but for a free contest, I guess

I love the way Rydilluc would be coming into this race if it were run with under the old rules

At least we get a complete bet against to go along with the Dubai horse

Rydilluc is definitely not a dirt horse imo. He was very mediocre at the 2yo sale. Didn't handle it at all in his lone try either...getting beat 22 lengths after gradually fading all the time in his debut.

Reminds me of the kid who exploited loop holes in the Presques Island Trifecta contest and won thousands of dollars. not to mention fed 2 homeless shelters with free hot dogs for a months.. What was the kids names?
