how is that busting someone about losing picks ? Surly was downplaying Byks awesome spotting of a 50-1 shot, who he had as an exotics use, just because he was 4th on the 4 hoss totem pole. Meanwhile he lists 5 or 6 hosses every race.

Oh and it's not schtick, he was that arrogant even as a teenager.

Andy doesn't list 5 or 6 horses a race, which you know. But aren't you the mook that advised boxing 5 horses in triples every race?

I wish people would go back and listen to Tuesday's show when this horse came up. Steve didn't endorse him, I talked about how I had lost money on the horse, and said that it hadn't shown an ability to run, something proven in its pps. NEVER did anyone either pick him or condemn his chances, he was merely mentioned as a part of the race, a race where the horse I selected was SCRATCHED.

The haters in this thread are laughable. Sorry if some of you have never argued about races with your friends ( we know at least one in this discussion has none ). I've done it all my life....and I'm not about to stop because some jealous crybabies in this thread don't like it. Judging by our audience for Talking Horses, many people that actually bet ( our intended audience ) would disagree with the haters here. To each their own.

He's too stupid to realize I am just doing my job, and giving extra picks to facilitate things for people in the TV truck in the case of scratches, as those picks are sent in at least two days in advance. Of course, I don't even give myself credit when I pick winners, much less EVER pat myself on the back for 2nd through 4th choices that might win. I am doing what is required for my job. Personally, I wouldn't give out choices at all, as the actual point is to stimulate discussion of the races, but the customers want picks, 1-4 for superfecta races, and the customer's needs come first.

They must be real geniuses in the truck. who's kidding whom? Byk has no problem doing twice as much. Just a bullshit excuse. look at all your posts. you have nothing good to say about anyone or anything. It's just sarcasm and venom. A guy said having a cup of coffee and listening to ATR was as good as it gets. Of course you had your snide little comment. Funny thats what we used to say watching you in the morning at saratoga every year, and it was true (except when you blabbeed double digit hooses we like to the masses. Nobody works harder the Serling and nobody has a better opinion. The reason I know this is before he became the single most important public handicapper in America he used to do it for his friends for FREE. He worked just as hard and never took a red cent for hours and hours of study. If you know Serling the way Byk Dahoss and many others in the sport do you would realize how incredibly stupid your post is. For years and years now Serling has worked tirelessly to promote gambling on racing thru educating people and developing real fans of the sport. He has taught thousands and thousands and its at a point now that he has no time to do anything but work when he is at work. I wish I could show you the money this man has helped so many earn with simply giving of himself selflessly. Dude you are so far off its incredible.

This isnt about who is better Steve or Andy Frankly I doubt Steve believes his knowledge of pure handicapping approaches Serlings nor does it remotely matter as they have mutual respect for each others talents but for you to come on here and suggest that Serling is anything but a huge positive to the sport is simply ridiculous.
