Obama didn't say, "Go fu.ck yourself", like Dick Cheney did in public on the Senate Floor.

And that doesn't even approach Lyndon Johnson, who talked profanity to the press all the time.

I could care less if Romney swore. Your ass-u-mption is wrong. But makes you look rather silly. I love it when people make things up out of thin air, then use that lie as a cudgel.

What I do care about is Romney's relentless and repeated outright lying. Mitt Romney is a serious and serial liar, about everything. He has repeatedly lied to the American public, to our faces. Because Romney is a serious, outrageous liar, he has disqualified himself from the Presidency - and that disqualification occurred in the 2008 campaign, not in 2012. 2012 just proved he still is what he is - a liar just like he was in 2008.

How can he lie about the price of a stock? The price of a stock is public record. If he was wrong about the price of the stock, do you really think it was intentional? He would have to know that there would not even be a 1% chance that he could get away with it. The plaintiff and the plaintiff's lawyer are going to know what the price of the stock was and they will obviously present that evidence to the court if anyone has the price of the stock wrong.

With regards to Romney lying more than Obama, I am actually glad that you posted that. It was the first time that you basically admitted (assuming you trust politifact) that both Obama and Romney both lie. You are making progress. In the past I don't think I've ever heard you admit that both guys lie but Romney lies more. You usually just say that Romney lies and never mention that Obama lies.

it really is lightweight compared to past chatter between candidates. of course any talk pales in comparison to canings, duals, guns being pulled on political opponents in House session. so tame these days.
