Obama did not add $16 trillion in debt with his policies. That is not true, and that is exactly what you have blamed him for. Obama is not responsible for causing or creating the debt that he inherited. Obama is not responsible for the ongoing interest we are paying, and the debt we are paying off, for US debt he inherited. Obama is not responsible for the debt from the Social Security trust fund, which you are saying he is, and is included in the $16 trillion. That's absurd. Fact - Obama's policies have added just under $1 trillion to our debt. You said, "Obama has raised the debt by trillions", and you use the figure that "the debt has raised to $16 trillion" (it hasn't, echnically, yet, by the way, that's at the end of this fiscal year) Prove it. You cannot. It's not true. So if you want to be an informed voter, you can vote for the guy who decreased the deficit and whose policies added $1.4 trillion to our debt - or you can vote for the guy whose policies promise to add $5 trillion to our debt. ![]() ![]()

That increase would have happened even if McCain were president - don't you understand that? A significant portion of the debt - the majority - is ongoing no matter who is president. That increase includes ongoing payments to borrowing in the Social Security trust fund over the past many decades (which rises), interest payments on our borrowing over decades (which rise) and every piece of debt that was present the day before the current president took office, accumulated from Bush I and II, Clinton, Reagan, etc. You cannot continue to blame this president for something he did not cause. Fact: Obama has cut the deficit, and Obama's policies have added just under $1 trillion to our debt. If this president were a Republican, his fiscal policy would be cheered for it's conservatism. Be fair, be objective, and vote accordingly.

![]() I accept their apologies. Everyone makes mistakes. Those who learn from their mistakes should be applauded.
Unfortunately Obama lives in a fantasy world and in that world there are no mistakes. A government supplemented factory making nothing as in the case of A123 is a success. Solyndra was open for a year. GM got their money and we got stock worth pennies on the dollar. SS is so solvent Obama was able to cut the SS tax by a third. Bankrupt Green energy companies are superior. Profitable tax paying private energy companies are evil. Egypt as a theocracy is still a democracy. Ft. Hood was a violence in the workplace crime and not a terrorist attack even though the shooter was yelling Allah is Great in Arabic while killing his victims. Enough's f'n enough! Less than two weeks. And btw in Wisconsin Romney is polling ahead of what Gov. Walker was in his recall election and we all know how that turned out. |
