Yes, it does that (sort of, you're not exactly right), too not taking any benefits from seniors (Romney-Ryan are liars) and providers agreed to that as the number of insured rise and they will gain markedly in new patients. That money goes to seniors, closing the Rx drug benefit donut hole is a benefit (about $600 per year) many seniors have already felt from that provision in the ACA.

But it also does what I listed. The Medicare changes are only a small part of the financing, not the major part of what the ACA does and achieves.

Again: it does not solve them completely, of course, but the ACA absolutely addresses and improves - in addition to the the Medicare improvement you mentioned:

Cost control
Premium price control
Medication costs
Health care improvements by access improvement
Funding of CDC and scientific initiatives
Massive cutting of fraud and waste in Medicare/Medicaid
Funding for private practitioners (increased numbers)
Changing payments to doctors for better outcomes, not more testing.
Coordination between health care teams.
Medical records improvements.

And on and on. You can click on healthcare.gov to read and educate yourself.

You are so factually ill-informed on this it's astounding in this age of the internet. Surely it must be deliberate?

What providers agreed to it? What does that even mean? You are the one who is ill-informed. Obamacare not only pays doctors much less for treating seniors, it also penalizes hospitals that treat large amounts of seniors. Obamacare is designed to kill the elderly to coverup for all the inefficiencies, higher costs, and the less quality care (who in their right mind would become a doctor today) that will come with Obamacare.

Yeah, the government's own website on Obamacare is real credible. Sorry Riot, I don't swallow Obama's lies like you do. You should really do some independent research, you may actually learn something.

Our rather large corporation 86.81B market cap just announced that those 66 years older (working or retired) and above will not longer be covered by the company heath insurance. They will be transferred to an exchange.

So much for " "If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan."

Nonsense.

Why does that mean you won't get the same plan? It doesn't. Actually, they will get more healthcare coverage for the same buck your company will pay. The ACA has minimum requirements for all plans now - you cannot be excluded or not covered for things you are not covered for now. That's a huge boon to most folks over 50. Your coverage increases. That's well beyond what elderly employees get now! It's a great thing.

Of course the employees can get the same plan, offered by the same provider (or perhaps a different one), on the exchanges. But I'll guess your insurance company will be quite happy to keep selling insurance to your company for these older employees?

Who do you think is providing the insurance plans on the exchanges? Not the government - it's private insurance companies

Yes, it's only private insurance companies on the exchanges, bidding competitively against one another for your companies - or individuals - business.

Yes, the exchanges will help your boss continue to provide insurance for these expensive older employees through the exchanges to employees for less cost. Your company can buy insurance for it's employees on the exchanges for far less than it is paying now.

If your boss has rather decided to stop providing any insurance at all for these employees, kicking them off insurance, leaving you entirely on your own, that's not the ACA's fault. Oh, and your company will pay a fine for that.

It sounds, however, like the company is taking advantage of exactly what the ACA exchanges are designed to do for businesses: get health insurance for employees, better coverage, at the same or better bang for their buck.

Increasing insurance for employees, at cost savings for the business.

Geesh - this isn't that complicated. Anyone can read the rules on healthcare.gov.

What do you they agree to? They agreed so more of them will be operating in the red? They didn't agree to anything, it was thrust upon them, just like it was on the the rest of us, by a bunch of elitist hypocrites who want to make rules for us to live by that they themselves are unwilling to follow. If Obamacare is so great then why are the Obamas, Bidens, Pelosis, Reid, and the rest of your idols keeping their superior health care coverage? Why did so many Unions and other Obama cronies request waivers?

Yeah Riot, it makes me a conspiracist because I am stating the obvious, that paying doctors 70% less to treat seniors than what they can get paid treating those on Medicaid and private insurance plus penalizing hospitals who treat more seniors isn't a design to kill seniors instead of really trying to treat them.

Yes, the government has real death panels that are gonna kill seniors. "Obamacare is designed to kill the elderly ...", you say?

Uh ... sure, buddy. Good luck with the looney bin. You can get mental health help with ObamaCares. You might read up on how the 10 years of RomneyCare in Mass have worked. They are not killing their seniors via "death panels" in the least. Except, yeah, the government website are designed to lie to the suckers. But not you! You know for a fact aliens landed in Roswell, don't you?

Grasp on reality - you doan haz it. Can u haz paranoia? Yup

Well, why not? Drives down costs for company and others in the group. Wonder what the price tag will end up being? They always lowball the price whenever a new plan is suggested. So we already know itll be higher then they said it would be when ohnocare was first voted on.

It use to be a point of evaluation when you went for employment as to how good their health care benefits were. You could decide for yourself if the healthcare (typically great for large corporations) was worth the lower salary than maybe a smaller company that would give you a better take home.

Now we just have to make it all the same for everyone, otherwise we are being unfair.

What is next - we all have to drive the same car, wear uniforms...probably not- but it does make you stop and wonder where we are heading.

Maybe DEVO was right "Freedom of choice Is what you got - Freedom from choice Is what you want"

Uh .. that's a good thing. Is that really too hard to understand? It saves your company lots of money for them to purchase private insurance on the exchange for those more expensive older employees. Then it lowers the cost of the group insurance remaining for the rest of the employees.

I repeat - this is an advantage for companies, it gives employees better insurance at less cost to the company. The company is still buying their insurance. The employee will probably have the same plan with a different name from the same provider.

The govrnment does not provide any insurance on the exchanges. Private companies do.

It won't change their plan. They will get more healthcare, like everyone else. The only thing an exchange is, is a competitive private marketplace for insurance to be purchased by companies and individuals. Think of it as a giant group lowering costs Pure capitalism, baby.

Lets recap, Obama said the following:

Obamacare will bend the cost curve down

If you like your insurance and your doctors, you can keep them

Illegal aliens are not covered under Obamacare

Guess what Riot, those were all LIES so why would anyone believe what is on their website. Obama is the worst kind of liar as he lies about policy because he knows that it will be unpopular with masses in this country. He is an elitist, condescending fool who wants to make rules for us to live that he himself is unwilling to follow while he lies to us about those rules.

You simply refuse to answer my simple question, if Obamacare is so great then why are the Obamas, Bidens, Pelosi, Reids, and rest of your elitist, hypocrite idols keeping their superior health care paid for by us of course?

If you have the guts to answer it, also try answering this one, if Obamacare is so great then why did Obama have to threaten and bribe his OWN PARTY to get it passed? Is a President who uses bribes, kickbacks, and lies to their own party to pass legislation that will greatly affect people's health something that you condone?

No matter how you try and spin it Riot, those were outright lies. I know that you pray to an Obama statue every night and simply cannot fathom that Obama is a filthy liar. He appeals to people like you who just soak up his lies without ever doing independant research. The Soviet Union had a term for braindead liberals like you, "useful idiot".
