Anything else which I believe had been embelished, which seems to happen a lot when you are just an employee.

Get off trying to start a bitch where none exists. We are simply discussing the story, nobody is angry, if you can't do so without starting personal accusatory crap, go away. Ditto to Dell and Rude.

Back at you, hypocritical big guy. Your comment on "United Mine Workers" - care to elaborate on the union protections regarding the pay of mine workers?

Or were you really not serious and just throwing out a snark political attack against Democrats? Your self-rightous indignation and cursing is hard to read through. I imagine it's because i hit a nerve. Dayum.

This story has nothing to do with Romney or Obama politics. It's about how a CEO treated his employees. A political rally - and who the candidate was doesn't matter, it could have been Obama - was the excuse for the treatment.

Anyone dragging Obama or Romney into it is simply trolling the diary. And too stupid to talk about the subject - which is workers rights.

My only point was that if were represented by the UMW there is no way the "CEO" could unilaterally decide not to pay workers and make them go to a rally.

All the rest of this psycho-drivel is nothing but your asinine, bat-sh.it crazy assumptions of me which you know nothing about.

Again, This is the 2nd time I've respectfully asked that you keep your personal attacks out of this forum and to yourself.

Hopefully a mod will find these self-righteous personal attacks as tiring as the rest of us, and do the right thing once and for all.

Ah! So you are really interested in discussing boss vs worker issues. Great! So .. are these guys UMW? The boss says they never get paid for "closed safety" days - think he's telling the truth, or not? Probably.

But that leaves open why the mine was closed for "safety" on this one particular day, when it was "Romney is visiting, and attendance is mandatory by all employees"

The boss should have given them the day off, and paid them. The CEO appears to be a cheap bastard.

You've heard of the term, "cognitive dissonance", I assume? If not, ask Dell about it.

Proof of no worker intimidation going on the place thus my interpretation that this article to start the thread was pure BS!
