Yeah, I've had the misfortune of coming upon rotting corpses in Nam as well as in Norfolk, Va...I am well aware of the lingering yuck...but in a trial, evidence must be factual, not "smelled like" or "was consistent with", that was my point..
IMO The smell is so unique, 'smelled like' and 'was consistent with' don't exist.
