She went to college at Penn State and is now selling insurance and keeps threatening to join the military.

Her big new hobby is shooting guns.

I'd say it's 8/5 that she goes Air McNair on some married guy who wrongs her - and shoots him in the head.

There is a difference between gun nuts and shooting. I happen to think there is nothing wrong with ownership or target shooting....As for your thesis, I think it might be true of guys who drive smallish sports cars or trophy cars in general.
