I wonder if it's 'his boy' rather than the connections his boy trains for (so, this would go outside the immediate 'family'). And, certainly, if Rudy is a testing ground, so was/is Sydney. The maid is next.

It doesnt matter anymore. These criminals get away with it and the officials look away for reasons I dont know. The $1500 fines and 30 day suspensions are just "for show" punishments to make the public think that the authorities have it under control. The best thing to do as a horseplayer is to know who has the best chemistry set and ride the wave.

Scav what the hell are you even talking about here? Are you implying that Rick Dutrow has come up with some new superdrugs and is having Rudy test them? For a second I thought that Rockhardten dope posted this.

While he is winning at a sick rate, the horses aren't exactly improving insanely a la Marty Wolfson. He is claiming horses/getting horses from The Dutrows and placing them in the right spots(something not all trainers have a clue about). If you look at the owners that are using Rudy you will see they are all pretty much have been Dutrow clients for years. They know Rudy and know how hard the guy has worked over the years. Rick Dutrow is really not training cheap claimers anymore so any leftover claimers are being given to him. Any of his owners who want to continue in the claimers game will probably use Rudy.

Rudy has been working for one of the top outfits for a long time so it's pretty safe to say that they guy knows his stuff.

As far as Rick Dutrow.......I am no fan of his at all and think he is a loudmouth pr#ck. And yes he has cheated like the rest of them and been caught. But anyone who works for him knows he runs a top notch stable and is a very talented horseman. So a guy who worked under him for yrs is bound to have success.

How? WHY? wouldn't you want your horse conditioned by Dutrow? The guy is awesome..Who could you want? Ok if you have a real sound Fn stud Tagg or if you have major talent Zito, but if you have a horse that has talent but has a 9 month shelf life who could you posssible want.

It's funny when you have a billion dollars and you giggle at life Sheppard seems like the only trainer in the world. When you have enough to race Dutrow is an obvious superstar!

Funny coming form the guy who uses one of the biggest cheating families in the game as his trainer.

While Dutrow obviously has a past.....the sh#t he does is nothing like the cr#p Stephanie Beattie and the rest of that demented clan do. The fact that she got that cripple you had to win a few races is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Beattie and friends are brilliant trainers SHAME ON YOU.. 30 horses from the OBS june sale sold between 30 and 300k ....Komodo out earned all but two and sold for under 25k..Let's just say HELLO BEATTIE. Look forward to TrippedNtrapped coming to a Pa. track in 12 months with Sandee at the helm. These Beattie's are trainers they understand a horse's biology. They are into holistic love.

Was just throwing out the possiblity and I know it is wild and has a 1% chance of being true. But, Dutrow can't get caught again without getting major public backlash.

He is claiming horses and moving them up in class and dominating, I am most interested in the repeat efforts and see how long they actually hold their form. I am a selective follower of the NYRA. I mess around with Toga and some Belmont turf races, so the only reason I have taken notice is someone mentioned it to me about 6 weeks ago, and paid attention since.

More like .000000000000000000000000000000000000001%.

You really think Dutrow being caught again will change what the public thinks of him ? I don't. Like Pletcher,Assmussen,O'Neil, Mullins, and other trainers that have had success he has used an "edge" to win. An illegal one. These guys continually get caught...get a slap on the wrist....and continue to do what they do. I don't think for one second Rick Dutrow is concerned about any public backlash about getting caught again. Assmussen got caught again recently and nothing has changed....

If anything there are gonna be some great betting opportunities as Rudy's horses are getting hammered at the windows. He aint gonna win em all which is gonna lead to some great values on other horses.

This is false. Aegean Breeze was beaten 34 1/2, 42 3/4 and 27 lengths in her last three races. Transferred to Rudy and won by 4 at 21-1 under mild urging. Wicked Climb, a total mediocrity with Contessa has now run back-to-back huge races for Rudy, setting a vicious pace two back and still winning by 10 3/4, stepping right up and winning a statebred N2X by 5 3/4 after that. Metulla had run Beyers of 58, 59, 61, 58 and 60 in his last five starts and won a pretty strong open $7,500 claimer at BEL first time Rudy on Thursday. West Coast Flier made an 18-point Beyer jump from Enrique Arroyo to Rudy. Temecula Creek (albeit with some good back form) claimed from Jacobson for $7,500 from a race where he ran a 37 Beyer, then returned to win back-to-back starter allowances with 90+ Beyers for Rudy. Rocketing Returns made a 15-point Beyer jump for Rudy and won a starter allowance off a $12,500 claim from Seth Benzel.

This is just from horses entered in the past two weeks. He doesn't have the stakes horses that Wolfson had yet, but he's doing some magical things.

Hard to believe there's debate whether this dude is juicing.

Thanks to all the skeptics for being a part of the betting pubic. I'm sure your astuteness transfers over real well when it comes to picking winners.

I thought you had me on IGGY ?

If you read what I posted earlier you would see that his insane win % is not gonna keep up and will lead to ridiculous horses being overbet, leading to great values on other horses.

Picking winners huh ? I read where you said your bankroll took a major hit......shocking

Look at some of the trainers he is claiming from. Contessa is having a god awful meet. Enrique Arroyo? Another beaut.

Explain Aegean Breeze. Metulla. Rocketing Returns. Temecula Creek. Jacobson was giving away that horse and he ran like it, then he turns around like nothing happened and wins back-to-back stakes quality starter allowances.

FFS, look at Aegean Breeze and Metulla's PP's before their wins. Anybody who can't see that Rudy is juicing is a rube.
