Incidentally over 413,000 in custody and 732,000 fugitives

1.89 million anchor babies born

I'd argue the trivial amount of money they contribute and leave into SS is set off solely by the cost of those incarcerated.

Now how much $$$ do you suppose they have earned and sent home?

How much money has been spent educating them, including going so far as teaching in a bi-lingual environment?

Just recently we had new arrivals come in to the local bar for some cervezas after doing some roofing work. They ordered by pointing. Despite them living in Harvard, IL 8 miles away they hadn't a clue they were in Wisconsin. Not that they had traveled over the border from IL but they had never heard of the word Wisconsin.

Thank God at least locally you push 1 for English or 2 to hang up and call back when you learn how to speak it.

PS I'm sure these two all-stars had insurance on the truck they drove away with. I can't bear to think of the possibility of them having DL's though anything out of the Sec of State of IL would not surprise me.

Come on, let's be fair to them. I'd say about half of the people living in this state have probably never heard of Wisconsin, and come to think of it, I'm not sure there is really much of a reason to know (or care) that it exists.

you may be right come to think of it. It's a good thing because the lake is at full capacity already most summer days.

In truth, however, I have much more respect for the people of Wisconsin now that so many of them detest Favre.

there are us citizens who are unaware that new mexico is indeed part of the united states. i doubt many could find their home state on a map.

You are saying that there are 413,000 illegal aliens 'in custody' - for being illegal? (not for crimes). Where are these nearly half million people being held? Where do you get those figures?
