Sorry if I'm sounding upset but the USA is not an evil country like you make it out to be. I may not be able to get married but I can be open and free and proud and employed and loved and not have to worry about being killed. Big difference and insulting to the gays in Uganda

And you should be able to be married. I didn't make out the USA to be an evil country (although it's governmental human rights inaction for gays is disturbing), I made out some areas to be evil, and it's absolutely true. There are plenty of racists, gay-bashers, bigots, haters in this country. And, sorry, in some areas of this country, unfortunately, you are unemployable, and you DO have to worry about being beat up or killed. It's rare, but it's already happened, and it's appalling that it happens in this country.

That's not insulting to any gays in Uganda, nor denying the appalling seriousness of the purge they have instituted.
