I'm not sure what you mean about NA debut, but Soldier Field is next to McCormick Place, which is just about the largest convention center in the world. If you are just going to the concert and NOTHING else just stay at the Hyatt there and get the hell back to the airport.

there are other hotels within walking distance, but it's not a safe, drunken walk for tourists...pick South Loop as the area here:
