Chicago Help

Wondering if the Chicago contingent could give me some help. We're going to be in and out so we don't really have time to enjoy the city.

We're going to U2's NA debut at Soldier field. I got conflicting info from our Chicago office whether we should stay downtown or apparently there is a convention center with hotels closer ot the stadium.

Any help would be appreciated.

Soldier Field is downtown, there is a shitload of hotels down there all within walking distance. I stayed down there once after a Bears game but I can't remember the place

Keep in mind my directions are always suspect, but I have been to probably 100 Bear games in my life, and I know there is a crap load of hotels on Michigan Ave.....

Clsoest hotel is the Best Western Grant Park. Also walking distance to the Aquarium and Navy Pier.

I'm not sure what you mean about NA debut, but Soldier Field is next to McCormick Place, which is just about the largest convention center in the world. If you are just going to the concert and NOTHING else just stay at the Hyatt there and get the hell back to the airport.

there are other hotels within walking distance, but it's not a safe, drunken walk for tourists...pick South Loop as the area here:

Otherwise, here's some other links. If you need any other help please feel free to pm me.
