![]() Sotomayor loved to refer to herself as a "wise woman" and a "wise latina". It wasn't in just the one speech. She said it repeatedly in numerous speeches over the years.

![]() The good news about Sotomayor is that she was a prosecutor at one time and she was considered a tough prosecutor. They say that her experience as a prosecutor made her somewhat of a "law and order" type judge. She was often sympathetic to police when it came to allowing evidence to be admissable that was obtained in questionable searches.
Many people don't remember that she was originally appointed by President George H.W. Bush. |
