Forgive me, I don't generally obsess about number derivation past a point, but are these just highest overall and not highest one turn Beyer or BSF for the same distance as the Mother Goose? The MGS is one turn correct? Does it matter to consider distance or number of turns when looking at past Beyers?

These are just the highest overall - which all happen to be routes (Hopeful Image's 81 was on turf, so I guess I should've given her highest dirt fig, which was a 77 in the mud. They should have set her odds at 100-1). I don't think any horse in the race has ever run a 1 turn 9F race before, and personally I think in most cases the 1 turn vs. 2 turn thing is made to be a bigger deal than it really is. I do know that Beyer formulas often differ between 1 and 2 turn races depending on the day.
