As for Smooth Air, they are lucky hes not going over there

Why, would he be an impediment for last?

List of accepted invites should be on the JRA site next week. Whenever it's up, I'll post it.

Either way, TCC is a nice horse and a great story. I have a soft spot for NYB's myself. And I totally get that it's a chance of a lifetime for the connections. But, this is crazy. I just hope he comes back like he left.
Was referring to this...

but I agree with you, I just hope he comes back the way he left. He has the potential to make some nice money next year in what figures to be a miserable handicap division. Can pick off the Cornhusker Handicaps of the world.

What does " he deserves a shot " mean? Roll the dice? You have been inundated by too much trainerspeak. If he deserves anything it is to be placed in spots he can win.....which his connections have done a good job of doing....until now. Plus, he was scratched with a small issue a week ago.....and now he's shipping half way around the world to finish last.

He does not " deserve " that.

Obviously without pps it's hard to predict anything but it's hard to believe he isn't the favorite to finish last.

However, thanks for the generous offer, Phil, of even money. I will take the appropriate 25-1 even without the pps.

I'd lift 18-1 on him finishing last if that offer was out there, but just guessing on what kinds of fields they've had in the past (not all that stellar)... I'd say 5-1.

Although Outofthebox's report conflicts the DRF in how easily he handled going clockwise versus counterclockwise.
