I think it is totally that. Calder is down like 72% or something ridiculous. I'm sure Churchill is way down. I've stopped playing on weekends this summer like I normally do cause I hate getting on my account seeing a race I want to bet and then being unable to. I have to imagine there are others with similar frustration. Let's see how the Saratoga meet does before blaming it all on the economy. Less people taking vacations will mean more people sitting at home playing the races.

Where do you think people magically get the extra $3,000-4,000 a year for food, gas, and heating fuel? Just pull it out of the air, or is it that great $600 stimulus check that that clown gave everyone.

Thank George for giving me $600 in government tax money so I can redistribute it to his oil friends.

I am sure the guys at Sallee are loving this brilliant President's energy policy as they sacrifice food for fuel costs.

actually, he asked for a package, and congress gave him one. their rating is lower than his-we seem to have a lot of scorn right now for all our elected officials, and with good reason.
each side wants to point at the other, playing the blame game while trying to take credit when something, anything, goes right.
but it's been that way since 1800, i don't see it changing any time soon!
