that horse wasn't asked for run until after he was passed. That and being stuck out wide like he was on Big Brown

either way after the ride he had in the first he gets all the blame

He rode the horse perfectly in the second. Knocking that ride borders on lunacy.

it may be lunacy but I don't see a perfect ride in the 2nd. I see a guy that is day dreaming

I'm not sure what perfect is but under the circumstances he did absolutely nothing wrong. He lost to a better horse who got a good trip as well. If you criticize the ride that John Velasquez gave in the second race today you have no credibility. It's as simple as that.

I love how whenever you make a correct criticism of a rider, Chavez has real gate problems, someone shows up with their next winner.....as though that has anything to do with what you were talking about.

Unless I missed your post where you said Jorge Chavez would never win another race.

Testy, aren't we?
I NEVER posted I had Chavez...only POSTED (IRONICALLY) the Chavez booted home the $40.00 winner in thr 9th at Belmont.

BTW, YOU do know when you do the nyra handicapping show that you are supposed to be SPEAKING TO THE CAMERA ( AUDIENCE) NOT DONOVAN.
Go watch the tape of yourself today.

But G Stevens was on HRTV talking about what a great speed rider Jorge is.

He also said while analyzing the 8th race and looking at mucho machos pps that sammarco should have no problem breaking his maiden in his next start. News flash GS; Sammarco won the 2nd race. You would think he would be watching the hot young horses like that since hes IEAH new hotshot Bloodstock agent.

Oh stop being so serious....I'd agree Chavez is done, and posted what I did because it was ironic...Chavez won the nightcapAt Belmont and precipitated the carryover.

IF, if I bet Chavez, I'd say before the race. I don't redboard.

The favorite in the 2nd was losing no matter what. . . I'd like to see how Pegasian would've done with a clear run.

What goes 99 clunk, 99 clunk, 99 clunk...

a centipede with a wooden leg.

now that's silly

watch both races and tell me he never had a choice to make. That he had to be cute and try to go up the rail in the first and in the 2nd. Yes, he was passed on the outside he was at least 4 wide all the way around the track and just sat there like he was waiting to get beat.
