![]() Why would anyone advocate for keeping "tickets"? About as silly an argument as there ever has been.
I actually sent Canterbury Park, my home track, an e-mail in 2000 about doing this very thing. They offered this during a contest (where you bet off of a card that has a starting balance, put in your pin number, etc). I was so pissed when I lost a vouchure for $400 that I thought there had to be a better way. I always thought the tracks would resist this because of the tickets that are not cashed by idiot betters that don't know they won. That uncashed money rolls back to the track. |
