and he's actually got a good pedigree. kipling is by gulch, who needs no introduction, and his dam is a full to summer squall, and a half to ap indy. then you have encino, his dams sire, who is a half sibling to terlingua, and a full sibling to royal academy.
you can't just go by where his sire was standing to say whether he has a good pedigree or not.

klondike katie didn't do much, that's true-and her dam was unraced, but vigors was a hell of a horse.
kipling has one ok considering the mares he's gotten to date. wonder what he'll do with better now that he's moved?

Who the hell knows what Dutrow is up to? He's probably using a drug on Kip that takes 5 months to recover from.
