What did you do with the kitten? I am allergic to cats too.
I had to take him to the humane society this morning. I felt terrible too... The two ladies there were very reassuring and they thought he had an excellent chance of getting a new home since he was so young and friendly. (He didn't much like my dog though even though she ADORED him. ) I wish I could have kept him, but I could barely breathe last night and I don't know if it was a combination of my cold and the allergies or just the allergy itself. It's been a long time since I've been around cats, so it's hard to tell. Do your eyes get all swollen and itchy when you're around cats? My nose was running like a faucet. YUCK.

Red itchy eyes, and runny nose. I like to breathe so I stay away from cats. I am ok with them from a distance. Up close and personal, NO WAY!

Kittens find homes quickly. It is the older cats and dogs that have a problem. If that makes you feel any better.

We all love kev. He knows that. He would appreciate the saving of a kitten. He is an animal lover.

My throat is what triggers when I have an allergic reaction-- it itches, and then my inner ears itch so badly I want to jam a fork in them to scratch. If I touch my eyes after petting cats I sometimes get red and weepy, but mostly it's my darn throat and ears, and that's just from being in the same room with them. Thank goodness it's cats and not horses!

Life as a wild cat is nasty, brutish and short, so I think the little guy has a much better chance at a long life on someone's hearth, thanks to you. I think I read the average life span for a feral cat is around 2 years. I bet he gets adopted.
