My personal favorite Street Cry race was the loss to Left Bank in the Whitney. That was a battle for the ages, and one that is STILL used on the cover of the DRF "Players Edition", if I recall correctly from my latest trip to Vegas.

If someone could find a video link to it I'd appreciate it.

Good thread here, with some really fine video look backs.
Street Cry and Street Sense have really given some memorable performances.

Also, how good was Left Bank in the Whitney?

I havent spoken to Don since DRF shut down....

both horses last races i think.. a shame.. I remember talking to Tabor after the loss of Left Bank and he was devestated..

Yes, I believe you are correct. Left Bank died of colic a couple months after (got the Eclipse for Older HOY posthumously) and I don't remember offhand what happened to Street Cry but he didn't make it to the JCGC or the BCC.

They probably would have been the two favorites in the BCC that year.
