I looked at the 8th for over an hour. It's an interesting race and probably a good one to bet against Harlington. I came up with Thanks D ... too slow; Harlington.... too iffy with the ankle; Dark C.... never itm on dirst over 6f; Chowder.... too slow. Mustanfar's run well on dirt vs some decent horses at several tracks; Art Master... can't see Frankel wasting a race, but I could be wrong. I'm seeing 5 and 4. FWIW. Can't hit the barn from a foot away, but I'll be at Calder today giving them hell. good luck.

Some thoughts on the card:
R3) Raven H and Stopbluffing are terrible at their ML prices. Neither have run close to par and Stopbluffing's best race was a phony inside post moderate pace waltz on the inner. I like Mission Approved at 4-1 (doubt he ends up at that.) Has enough early pace to stay close and the best closing kick of the bunch plus returns at the same 1-turn mile distance. Would also use Love Abroad in multirace wagers, throw out the last two turf races and the 7.5F dirt effort was very a solid defeat to a decent NYB (Market Psychology).

R5) Tagg's entry will be very tough, especially if both go. If I play the pick 6 I will single them. Miracle Moment has the best pace in the race but if she's pressed Bitter Lemon will clean up the pieces.

R8) I like Dark Cheetah at 3-1 on the stretchout. Should end up on the lead by default without a whole lot of pressure, and I don't trust Harlington off the layoff, Art Master turf to dirt (although I think he's the main competition), or Mustanfar at anything less than 10F. Will single this leg as well.

Still debating on whether to play the P6 as the rest of the legs are a mess and I feel like I could get both singles home and STILL get knocked out by some ridiculous bomb in the MCL's.

May be a waste, but I am going to try to get the #2 involved in the 6th at BEL.

Third off layoff droping in for tag off two horrible efforts. Tried blinks and sod in those two. Now loses blinkers and returns to dirt Mile where he put in a decent effort last spring. Maybe at big big price....

Good Luck Today!

Scratched, I took a look at him at what would have been a big big price.

It's a totally impossible race for pretty much all the reasons you gave. There is basically no way to trust anyone in the race.
