They're tired horses and Chelokee is fresh... it could happen. I want to see who else is entered as well... last year, Hemingway's Key was my longshot. I'm looking for a similar horse this year.

last year, bernardini was the live longshot. I still cant believe he was 13-1. I was touting him all week then preakness comes and I have to sell BBQ to a hundred thousand drunks and dont get time to bet.

I wanted to cry after the race for not having time to bet Bernardini. I friggin loved him in that race (even if Barbaro was healthy) especially after talking to Byk that morning.

I was a doubter (concerned about not ever having gone two turns.) When I said Hemingway's Key was my longshot... I meant my longshot to hit the board. I didn't think he could win the race. I really thought that Saint had a shot. Oh well...

street sense shouldn't be tired, yesterday is his fourth race dating from last winter.
hard spun might be a bit more tired than street sense, but he seems to be in top form. he ran lights out yesterday after running lights out on monday, but yesterday was his first race in five weeks. he shouldn't be tired either.

besides, fresh imo is overrated--look at CQ yesterday.

The value of 'freshness' is overrated in distance races. You want horses who are FIT, not fresh.
