what the hell does it matter? i can see a jock change, a trainer change, a surface switch being a concern. lol silks....

What do you mean? I already explained to you why it matters. It would be VERY unusual for a horse to win the Derby after switching silks. It hardly ever happens. You better factor this into your handicapping strategy.
It is a shame, because if he was using the same silks as he did in the Arkansas Derby, he may have had a chance.

I know, I have noticed that a lot of these horses don't even seem to be aware of the "angles" working against them. What ignorant beasts.

Horses are 0-33 changing silks one race prior to the Derby, he has NO CHANCE

In all seriousness...it would be bad karma for the silks to change.

If you had a class and sat in the same seat all the time...and you got 100% on every test....would you want to change that seat? Regardless if it's because you studied?

Um, except in this case he wore different silks every start and has won. So wouldn't it be bad karma now to not switch up the silks again? Of all the ridiculous Derby curses this one takes the cake.
