Luckily, I'm not terribly afraid of making a poor prediction when it comes to horse racing- I've actually grown rather accustomed to it. Unfortunately, all of the Nobiz supporters have offered no argument to substantiate why he will beat Any Given Saturday. That, really, is all I was looking for.

I'm with you on this one. I don't think it's an outlandish prediction to make as AGS has actual races that we can point to in predicting that he will perform better on Saturday. Nobiz has a few decent races and lots of "potential," well, now potential and q-tips.

Well, he has won at the distance in a decent (not great but decent) time and over the same track. AGS has not run the distance yet.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to be shocked in any way if Nobiz wins, I just would be hesitant given the likely price.

Didn't say I was going to bet the race. Just saying that I think NoBiz is going to win. I do think the sleeper in the race is Summer Doldrums.

I won't be shocked if AGS wins though.

Everyone knows about the bad habits.
I dont give a damn who he is by, Albert the Great not putting out great horses does not have anything to do with what Nobiz has displayed on the track. I watch the animals run. And he is very talented. First he is huge, if he learns, he could flat out pile through a crowd. Secondly he is fast, he puts himself in pretty good position from the start. Thirdly he does not give up. Just look at the last race when he was lugging in. He came on again very hard. Immense talent with some bad habits. Point Given had a lot of problems early on also.

If Tagg straightens him out, he is a perfect Derby horse with his strengths. Crazy to leave this one out at this point, crazy.

This is a very interesting race. How much did the Tampa Bay Derby take out of AGS. No Biz and hard Spun had difficult races last time out. Maybe neither of them run well and another horses surprises us. There are too many questions in this race for me to wager on. I like No Biz because I like Albert The Great and I like Tagg. I want the horse to do well as with any horse. Blinkers and cotton balls may work once, but who is to say it will work twice or even at all.
