Speaking of So Cal,a great play used to be the Danehill line coming over from Europe off of poor heavy/deep form and finding firm/hard turf........they loved the ground tight.
To this day I think that Danehill was the best "hard" turf sire I ever saw.

I went through the card and just assumed the two non-stakes Friday turf races are off. It will have some give if Thursday's forecast holds.
