I'm saying that a good number of people on welfare are at the end of their rope and probably are paycheck to paycheck with no backup. You probably had some backup. Put yourself in a position where you have no money, no backup a family to feed. Pretty desperate no? Now multiply that by the number of people having their welfare taken away according to your master plan. Are you saying NONE of them will resort to criminal activity? If you are you are very very naive. If I were put in that situation I can't say with all honesty that I wouldn't resort to criminal activity.

My master plan will boot able bodied scammers off the trough, not people in true need of assistance. They are already robbing people by scamming welfare in the first place. Middle class, and wealthy people account for as much, or more crime than the so-called poor.

Here is a study of Crime and shows the increase in crime later in the month after welfare checks are delivered. What do you think will happen if there were no checks at all? I'm sure you think I am a bleeding heart liberal I couldn't be further from it. But I do know that every action has a reaction and there is something called the law of law of unintended consequences.
There are no binary solutions. to issues of this nature.

That's what I wanted to find out from Wing, that he didn't answer - Illinois, many years back, put a time limit on someone's ability to collect welfare. Like 2 years or something. Wonder if it's still in effect.

I wonder about people like Congresswoman and Tea Party queen Michelle Bachmann, who raised 23 foster kids - that alot of monthly government checks, combined with her government farms subsidies.

I would be shocked if there wasn't more than 20 loopholes for that in Illinois.

It's amazing how intelligent some of these welfare recipients are...Morty excluded.
