That is the whole point. Obama obviously told the literary agent he was born in Kenya. The literary agent didn't come up with it out of thin air. Assuming Obama was born in Hawaii, maybe Obama thought it would make his story more interesting if he claimed he was from Kenya. That is the only half-way credible argument I can come up with to explain why the literary agent wrote this, if in fact Obama is truly from Hawaii.

I think this story is a smoking gun. However, I don't even know if anyone will care at this point. I think people from both sides are going to believe what they want to believe, regardless of the evidence.
