Default Oaklawn- Terry Wallace

I'm a big fan of Terry. I know he doesn't get a lot of pub as a race caller, but not to take anything away from the great race callers around the country, I really enjoy listening to Terry Wallace call races... Whenever I need a smile I just think of him saying "and here they coming in to the short stretch of the mile run... " Anyone else feel the same way?

Been listening to Terry call races at Oaklawn for about thirty years or so. Won't seem the same, if he ever leaves. Not sure they can run the place without him. He seems to be everywhere. I even see him sometimes when I go out to eat in restaurants in town.

Different strokes for different folks. I hate TW's calls. It seems he misses a lot and is mistake prone.

There should be a mandatory retirement age for race callers.
