![]() I see where two horses that had been trained by Dutrow are entered in Juan Rodriguez's name Thursday (Bruce Tickets in the 2nd, and Herecomeshollywood in the 3rd). Is Dutrow out on suspension again and, if so, what for this time?

![]() from the DRF
Dutrow receives seven-day suspension By MATT HEGARTY Richard Dutrow Jr., one of the leading trainers in New York, was expected to begin serving a seven-day suspension on Thursday after one of the horses he trains tested positive for an excessive amount of the painkiller phenylbutazone, the New York State Racing and Wagering Board said Wednesday. The suspension stemmed from an overage of the drug, popularly known as Bute, in a postrace sample taken from Privy Seal, who finished fourth in the fourth race at Belmont Park on Oct. 15, 2006. Privy Seal was ruled unplaced as a result. The initial penalty would have suspended Dutrow for 15 days, but Dutrow waived his appeal. The trainer was also fined $1,000. Dutrow did not return a phone message left for him on Wednesday. Copyright © 2006 Daily Racing Form, LLC. All rights reserved. |

![]() J-Rod is back! Prozac is whack!
Before him---Dutrow had a 30 day or so suspension in about 2000 or 2001. His horses ran under the name of Cleveland Johnson if I remember correctly....not surprisingly...they ran like Banshee's for that trainer as well. |

![]() I see the name; Juan Rodriguez with two horses entered tomorrow at Aqueduct. Wasn't he the one who subbed for Rick Dutrow when he was on suspension? The runner in the 2nd, Bruce Tickets was Dutrow in his first start. Has Juan gone out on his own? or is there something else up

![]() Why do they even bother listing another trainer in place of the suspended one when we all know how little these bans are enforced and how easy these things are to "get around". I mean a trainer who is suspended can easily just wear a disguise and go in and do his/her training, even go to the track and be in the winners circle in disguise. I mean how stupid do they think the average horse racing fan is (Oh wait, dont answer that
