First Regent

He is running in the Dixieland Stakes on 1/19/07. Has a real nice post and gets a Derby winning jockey. Anyone other than me like this horse other than me. I know that Officer Rocket will be tough. But if he doesnt run his race, then I think First Regent has a chance.

Got a big shot if Go Poppa Fooze isn't allowed an easy lead. I can envision First Regent sitting about 4 or 5 lengths off the pace outside of Tortuga Straights and behind 3 or 4 horses. Most 5.5 furlong races at Oaklawn are won from off the pace. I do think Go Poppa is fastest though and might run off....

I pretty much agree with you on this assessment.
