What stuck out in the sob story for me is him admitting not hustling for business. That's what cost him his job. Blaming the large stables is a cop-out and a cheap shot. |

What worked for him 5 or 10 or 20 years ago doesn't confer license for continued success. It's unfortunate, but not a shame. He either wasn't good enough or didn't work hard enough. And what does a trainer with four horses need an assistant trainer for? |
