![]() Greeley's Legacy returns...his first race since the Preakness. I know he is probably not one that a lot of people were waiting on the edge of their seat for...but I'm happy

I too am very interested in how he does. I thought he would give a good account of himself in the Preakness and considering he hasn't run since it is reasonable to assume something happened. He was certainly improving in the Spring ( save the slop in the Wood ). I know there are some quotes from Weaver in DRF about this horse. |

![]() I liked Greeley's Legacy in the Preakness. Lost a few dollars on him. Thanks for letting us know he is back in action.

Here are the quotes from Welsch's article..... "We gave him a nuclear scan after the Preakness, and while he had no specific fractures he did light up in a few places and needed some time," said trainer George Weaver. "And the time has done him well. He's training like a good horse, and I must admit I have some high ambitions for him this year. "I'm not sure if he's done enough to run his best race on Wednesday, but I think he's done enough to run very well, and I don't think a one-turn mile should be a problem for him." |

![]() To think that there was a actually a point that I thought Greeley's Legacy would finish ahead of Bernardini in the Preakness.

![]() With all the attention Greeley's Legacy is getting, how about some interest in Great Point and King of Jazz?
Great Point came within a jump of knocking off Barbaro in that Holy Bull last year, and King of Jazz just missed Wild Desert in the Queen's Plate before the injury in Flower Alley's Jim Dandy...

I don't have the pps in front of me, but I seem to remember Great Point ran less than terrific recently and King of Jazz was horrendous in his comeback race....I believe behind Papa Chullo. |

![]() Great Point was widest of all and came FLYING to the wire then was injured or something and hasn't run worth a darn since. King of Jazz sounds intriguing. I love those Woodbine horses coming to Gulfstream. I actually had Hemingway's Key keyed 3rd. I also bet Bernardini on top of Barbaro. If I remember right, Kasept suggested a Bernardini w/ SNS w/ all. What did you get back on the Superfecta?

![]() While not a horrendous starting point for Greeley's Lagacy it was still pretty disappointing. He had a pretty soft trip and really never levelled off. I guess it's early but he really needs to step it up.
On the other hand Great Point ran pretty well. |
