Default Breeders Cup Races - Capping the Cappers

Please post your wagers for Capping the Cappers in this thread.

Here's your chance to guess who will take home the Gallivan Cup this year by winning the Points Contest of the two Breeerds Cup Cards. The top ten players are eligible as noted below. ML ods are also shown as we each have a $100 wallet to place win bets only, all on one player or as many as four. JolyB will post the final odds before based on the wagers.

Please have all Capping the Cappers win bets posted tomorrow 10/30 by 5:00PM ET. Thank you and here we go . . .

1: JolyB 2-1 (solid all year long and the hands down favorite)
2: Indian Hemp 3-1 (surged brilliantly at the end, he's dangerous)
3: Ruffian 5-2 (tough competitor on every card nailing another stellar year)
4: Real Quiet 7-2 (always tough on the big days, watch out)
5: Digger 4-1(the wise guy bet of the contest)
6: DonGuido 7-1 (off his game this year but he's won the cup a number of times before)
7: Alli 6-1 (this filly has a way of taking home the prize, be aware)
8: Cal 828 10-1(an ROI ace who can turn that style into cup win as well)
9: Blunny 12-1 (not well known with the group, a wise guy long shot)
10: Alydar 12-1 (like Blunny, could be the upset of the contest, don't ignore)
11: NJ Stinks 15-1 (another one that may surprise)

Hope y'all have fun with this and most of all enjoy the two fantastic Breeders Cup Days . . . ya nose how much I luvs yas!!!

You were 3rd in the final standings, Indian Hemp was 2nd and the odds have nothing to do with the final standings. Think of it as the gate your in for the race. Don't fret, the final odds will change when the wagers are in.

What about NJ Stinks? I'm betting on him due to his knowledge of those Euro horses.

I just read "Failure not an Option", the 2003 Bloodhorse article on Glen Gallivan. I was not familiar with the man or his story so thank you for allowing me to learn about this brave man and for continuing to honor his life and passion for the ponies.

I like all these wagers. Makes our "oddsmaker" roll up his sleeves!

Once all of the wagers are in, I'll try to crank the tote out on my Curta. If that doesn't work, I may ask to borrow your famous abacus.
