Harry, anyway back for the Barmy Army??? They did it 2 years ago, but surely not again.. Only chance i see a possibility is if Ponting and McGrath miss a few games..

There were loads more positives to be taken from the Lord's defeat last year, obviously the fact that we took 20 Aussie wickets being the main one.

I'm not totally discounting a comeback, as we showed a lot more in the 2nd innings and the Aussies always do well at the Gabba, but we do need 2 things to happen badly.

1) Steve Harmison to get his arse in gear and become the bowler he can be, but rarely is nowadays.

2) Michael Vaughan to return to the team. Supposedly he might be ready for the 3rd test, and whilst it wont happen, I would make Strauss captain until he returns. It wouldn't matter if Vaughan didn't make a single run, cos his captaincy is priceless. Its just asking far too much of Freddy for him to do everything, and he really needs to find his form with the bat.


Long odds against us winning/retaining the urn but after last summer I'll never rule anything out in cricket. Oh, I'd bring Monty in for Gylo as well.
