Default The Queen loved her horses . . .

She said she felt better on the back of a horse than on a throne.

Some here will know more about the long history with her thoroughbreds and racing. Share anything you may know equine related to Queen Elizabeth here if you like.

She reportedly met 15 Presidents and I think even more Prime Ministers and I had to laugh, she raised 30 Corgis. Anyone who likes dogs has to be a decent person. I knew about her love of horses and I think she made an annual appearance at Ascot. Hard to know whether anything in the Netflix series, The Crown, was true or not, but it was damn entertaining.

“There is something about the outside of a horse
that is good for the inside of a man.”
