Default Remington Still Taking Over 30%(Lone Star Too)

I guess the other day was not an aberration. I checked tonight and Remington Park is still taking out 30% on WPS bets even though they claim that the track take is only 18%. In the 4th race tonight, there was $29,770 in the win pool. The winner had $5,155 bet on him to win. He only paid $7.60 to win. He should have paid $9.40 to win.

By the way, Lone Star Park does the same thing. In the 6th race at Lone Star Park tonight, there was $8,570 in the win pool. The winner had $1,746 bet to win on him. He should have paid $8.00 to win. He only paid $6.60 to win.

I can't believe it. Go to your youbet.com account when you get a chance and check it out. You can do the math on any race and you will see that these tracks are taking out 30% on WPS bets. I don't know how they can get away with it.

I have told Andy and Steve about it. They have good connections. They should be able to get to the bottom of it.

I wouldn't bother calling the track. I already spent over a half-hour on the phone with them. They don't even know how to do the math.

Maybe they could bring this up on that ATRAB show.Would only take 5 minutes, and they spend that much time on repetitive pleasantries each day.

You can add Woodbine to the list of tracks taking over 30% on WPS bets. I don't know how these tracks can pretend they're taking 18% when they are actually taking over 30%.

there has to be something to do, there really does. i wonder how foreign money comes into the pools or something. it seems far too out of whack to be true, but the numbers certainly don't add up for now
