![]() Next Saturday is just three days before Christmas and nothing exciting going on, racing-wise, anyway.
I think we should give ourselves the gift of a break and play again the following Saturday, Dec 29th. There are stakes galore on the 29th! What do all of you think? |

![]() That's a great suggestion, Plen. I'm all for it.

![]() A break works for me. I generally score on Monday and with it being Christmas Eve I don't know when I could do it.

![]() Sounds good to me. I pulled up the Stakes Calendar, but didn't see anything, but a bunch of listed stakes at Fairgrounds that didn't seem to be too relevant to the KD or anything else. I think they were mostly Turf and dirt sprints.

![]() It will be nice to have a Saturday off from handicapping with all of the other things that need to be done to get ready for Christmas. Hope that all of you have a very Merry Christmas and that no lumps of coal end up in your stockings.
I'll plan on posting the venue for December 29 on Boxing Day or very shortly thereafter. There are several good potential candidates, but if you need a hint, I'll probably follow the advice that has most likely been wrongly attributed to Horace Greeley to "go West, young man ..." |
