Default 10th race Gulfstream Park 12/28

Talk about bad luck.
Number 9 horse well clear for a victory then gets spooked and unseats the rider two jumps before the wire.

I hope the jockey is ok.

I had $4 in my account. Put $2 win on #9 and a $1 ex box with something i wouldn't have won. I figured someone had something huge. I quit gambling for about five minutes. I feel horrible for the person that had it. And Hope Emisael is OK. He went to hospital with chest pain

Hoofprint on Jaramillo's jacket! He's OK. Will try to get clearance to ride today.

Jaramillo is very lucky, I saw that he's looking to ride today.

As far as the poor bastard that was live in the rainbow, that might be the worst beat in the history of the world.

My coworker wasn't live to the Jackpot but had a $5 DD and $1 P3 to Cryogenic. Guess he made a bit of a scene at the OTB and stormed out.
He later texted me:

10 minute photo 100,000 Hawthorne Derby. Stood on track as horses circled.
Then a little later

I wonder if the "person" alive with that horse in the Rainbow-6 even knows what he/she was alive for and why the bet was lost. My guess is no....though maybe by now he/she knows.

It made the sportcenter with SVP have its own special Thursday edition of Bad Beats. Usually they wait until after the weekend.

Emisael Jaramillo expected to be released from hospital this morning but according to his agent not likely to ride again for about one week recuperating from bumps and bruises incurred in frightening spill in Thursday's finale.

She knew, and took it all in stride. I read it on the internet, it must be true

Considering what was at stake, I’d rank this as far and away the worst beat that I’ve ever heard of. This isn’t spiking a 2 outer on the river to win the Main Event, this is having the race all but won and just when you’re about to scoop the jackpot with one unique ticket, the floor drops out from under you. Not sure how he/she shows up today and pushes more money through the windows. I’d still be crawled up on the couch.

I texted my brother right after the race telling him about my bad beat for a 625. pick3. When he texted me back later on and told me about the single person jackpot loss, well I didn't feel so bad anymore.

Well, given it was likely a computer group that was alive, your beat was tougher.
